The image, created by Jesuit Father Marko Rupnik, also shows one of Jesus’ eyes merged with the man’s to show how “Christ sees with the eyes of Adam, and Adam with the eyes of Christ.”

Exactly how is this even CATHOLIC?

I thought Our Blessed Lord also said we must repent and be converted. That vital aspect – THE vital aspect – has been quite missing from all the rhetoric regarding mercy and never judging others.

Yep. Sounds a lot like this from Blather's article:

If there is a masonic lobby in the Vatican, it could mean that there are Deists in the Vatican – people with a watered down version of the Church, religious indifferentists, people who no longer believe in the efficacy of the sacraments except as pieces of theatre, certainly not outward signs of inward grace.

The imagery of the shared eye implies an equivalence between fallen man and the Savior. The motto "merciful like the Father" implies that God's mercy emanates only from the Father (which corresponds to the "Fatherhood of God, brotherhood of man" and denial of Christ's Divinity ideology).

"Grace be with you, mercy, and peace from God the Father, and from Christ Jesus the Son of the Father; in truth and charity". (2 John 1:3)

I also agree with ebb tide regarding the homo-esque quality of the logo.
