The image, created by Jesuit Father Marko Rupnik, also shows one of Jesus’ eyes merged with the man’s to show how “Christ sees with the eyes of Adam, and Adam with the eyes of Christ.” Exactly how is this even CATHOLIC?

The imagery of the shared eye implies an equivalence between fallen man and the Savior. The motto "merciful like the Father" implies that God's mercy emanates only from the Father (which corresponds to the "Fatherhood of God, brotherhood of man" and denial of Christ's Divinity ideology).

"Grace be with you, mercy, and peace from God the Father, and from Christ Jesus the Son of the Father; in truth and charity". (2 John 1:3)

I also agree with ebb tide regarding the homo-esque quality of the logo.
