A new Ben-Hur
CGI, inc.
Well there could have been threats over the years leading up to the Jewish revolt in 66 A.D.
Are you sure about that?
If you haven’t seen “Do You Believe?” I would go at the earliest available opportunity. It is an outstanding movie by the Kendrick brothers and it one of the best Christian movies ever made. Cybil Shepard, Lee Majors are in it.
Wow!!!!!!
If I were Jewish and a Hollywood power player, I would want to promote films about Jesus. With Christianity becoming increasingly unpopular, Muslim sympathies on the rise, and an anti- Semitic president I would be worried. I would have a vested interest in returning to the days when the US was truly Christian.
Not suprising NYER I been reading Deadline Hollyweird for last few months seem every studio in Hollyweird try do faith based movies it mean ratings and money
These need to be watched critically, as a possible watering down and misinformation about of Christianity as accommodations for the perverts of society.
That was also presented on TV (forget which channel).
Kind of hard on the Romans but other than that I've been enjoying it as well.
Me too. The parts that aren’t scriptural are plausible for the culture/time (Peter having a daughter, etc.) and the rest have been scriptural so far. I think they should have included Peter’s sermon at Pentecost, but Stephen may make up for it soon in the series. All in all it’s a good series for mainstream TV.
Sure about what?
“exactly as you would expect of the Word of God made flesh.”
How refreshing to hear.
Ben Hur was one of the most widely read books in the early 20th century. The beginning is a little slow, and probably not what you would expect, but still a read. There’s more to it than the chariot race, but I admit the chariot race was pretty good.
...but still a good read. correction on myself.
