One of the most contentious issues between modern day Jewish and Christian scholars is whether the Messiah would be the "Son of God." The Christian New Testament clearly indicates that Jesus believed he was the Son of God, and that the disciples believed this as well. However, most 20th century rabbis claim that the Messiah is simply a man.
In 1992 I had a discussion about the Messiah with a Jewish physician, a man who was a Torah scholar as well. He told me that virtually all modern rabbis believe the Messiah is going to be just a man. He will be great in wisdom and stature, but he will be just a man. He will not be the Son of God, nor will he be God in the flesh. He then went on to tell me that the belief that the Messiah is the Son of God was a Christian fabrication. He told me that there is no evidence from the Old Testament or the writings of the ancient rabbis that the Messiah would be the Son of God.
This denial among virtually all of modern Judaism of the "Sonship" of the Messiah, is widely held. However, this has not always been so. There is abundant evidence in the writings of the ancient rabbis, as well as the Apocryphal books, that the Messiah would indeed be the Son of God.
In 1992, powerful new evidence from the Dead Sea Scrolls was published that reveals the belief among first century mainstream Judaism that the Messiah was indeed the Son of God.

It’s no surprise the most of the Jewish leadership especially don’t believe. God did after all “set the aside” during this age of grace. The abandonment of the Jews is coming to an end very soon. This “dispensation of grace” as Paul called it will soon end and God will once again turn His full attention to the nation of Israel.

And the Messianic/Completed Jews still believe that. Mr. GG2 being one of them.
They may not believe the Jesus of the New Testament is their Messiah but I would think they understand that the one who takes the seat of David would be the Son of God...
Praise God for that! Obviously the first believers were Jews and there have been many since. I had some friends that were Messianic Jews. They felt compelled and called to relocate to Israel and now live there.
Lets see!

4.Walked on water.
5.Cast demons out.
6.Healed spirits and minds.
7.Forgave sin.
8.Paid in his blood for our sin and more.
He is Yeshua Messiah and our soon coming King and a light onto the house of Israel.

I’m so happy for you as the only Jew in the world on the right path. I was with 2nd. Para IDF in 1973 on the Golan where were you? The State of Israel gives my a passport and calls me a son of Israel how about you? Funny thing I saw a lot of different color and types of Jews in Israel. I now feel so sorry that they are all not Jews after all like you. I have seen Jews like you! will not fight, will not carry a gun, will not stand up. Lets see was that in the death camps in Germany or Poland. I was there in 1970 how about you the one true Jew?
