Heavenly Father,
How Wonderful is Your Holy Name!
You Alone Are Worthy of Worship and Praise,
For You Alone Are The One True God,
How We Love to Sing Your Praises,
How we love to give You The Glory.
Rock of Ages,
Our Strength and our Song
Our Refuge in Times of Trouble,
Our Rock and Our Redeemer!

We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
According to Your Will and Promise.
We Pray For the People and Leaders of Israel,
that They Will Look to You for the Protection
and Prosperity of their Nation.
We Also Pray For Revival in our own Beloved USA.

We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Persia was a Mighty Empire that encompassed thousands of square miles. The King was an absolute Monarch, but his realm was divided up into provinces ruled by Satraps. The satraps answered to the King, and although powerful, were subject to him.

We have individual States ruled by individual Governors, but they are not directly responsible to the President of the USA(Thank Goodness!) Each Governor is elected by the People of his or her State and must answer to THEM.

In today's parlance, a "Satrap" is more likely to be a person in a ceremonial position which gets plenty of pomp and flattery, but little or no power. It is a somewhat derogatory term for a bureaucrat!

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

Now these are the last words of David. . .The spirit of the LORD spoke by me, and His word was upon my tongue. The God of Israel said, The Rock of Israel spoke to me: ‘Ruler over men shall be the righteous, even he that ruleth in the fear of God, And as the light of the morning, when the sun riseth, a morning without clouds; when through clear shining after rain, the tender grass springeth out of the earth.’ For is not my house established with God? for an everlasting covenant He hath made with me, ordered in all things, and sure; for all my salvation, and all my desire, will he not make it to grow? 2 Samuel 23:1-5 ~ Praying for the Peace of Jerusalem
