Actually the libertarian position is that the state should not be used to coerce people’s points of view one way or the other.
Homosexuals have every right to try and convince me that I am mistaken. I have every right to try and show them the DEMONSTRABLE error of their ways. The problem is they do not fight fair and when you refuse to subscribe to their beliefs use the power of law against you. In effect they do what they claim - often with no proof - that normal people did to them.
Please note - I do not believe perversion is a normal state. I do not think they are born that way. I believe it is an acquired behavior. It is a sin just like any other sin. When they call it something else they are separating themselves from the love of God and the church should be uncompromising in that stance.

This is just their plan to gain "acceptance" for their refusal to "sin no more", with the resultant infiltration of Southern Baptist Churches (and all churches) so that the Churches can be "evolved" from the inside.
No "conversation" is necessary. Reiteration of GOD's Words about Homosexual sin, like any other sin, will be required if/when the topic arises.
HRC probably thinks that Moore and Stonestreet are somehow "Baptist Popes" who will "decree" that all Southern Baptist Convention Churches accept homosexual sin (not that they are expousing such) will "make it so".
SBC Leadership and individual Baptist Church relationships don't work that way.
