The average muslim does not fly planes into buildings and go around cutting off people’s heads. I do agree that more muslims should speak out about the nutcases in their faith. When was the last time some of these “muslims” like Kareem Abdul Jabbar or Muhammad Ali spoke out against the morons that make all muslims look bad? The answer. Never.

I ESPECIALLY agree with your last line about American Muslims condemning the fanatics. There IS no escaping the fanatic who is willing to blow himself up, immolate himself (Tibetan monks) or poison a water source.
All one can do is MUZZLE the Muslim fanatics wherever they rear their ugly heads. Local mainstream Muslims really ought to speak out.
Caveat: Will our lamestream media air those moderate Muslim folks? Or do the media ignore them because they profit from the calamities and acting-out fanatics? MOST Muslims are NOT Arabs.
