“While the exact location of the house is not mentioned, it seems reasonable to assume that it is Peters house in Capernaum, “
A conclusion unsupported by Scripture so why even bring it up?

**it seems reasonable to assume that it is Peters house in Capernaum, which was Jesus home base for his ministry in Galilee.**
What my priest has said too.

And if we can allow for the identity of the house as being that of Peter, then we are not just talking about any old house, or any gathering place. We are talking about Peters house, the Church. Uhhh....no. No where is the church called Peter's house. It is the Lord's House I attend on Sundays.
The church was built on the blood of Jesus.
Peter, Paul, James and the rest of the apostles shared the Gospel.

Wow! What a propaganda piece! First the arrogance and pomposity of the Catholic Church to think that its the only place the Holy Spirit can reach people is astounding.
