The UN’s Committee on Human Rights has condemned Ireland’s ban on abortion as “unacceptable cruelty,” and demanded liberalization of the law.

Following testimony by several pro-abortion organizations, the UN committee pressed Irish justice minister Frances Fitzgerald to defend the country’s law, with one member claiming, inaccurately, that under existing international law, legal access to abortion is “an absolute right.”

U N once again trying to dictate religious beliefs. Why don’t they head over to the middle east and muddle a round there for a while. See how that works out for the blue hats.

So it’s “unacceptable cruelty” to preserve life in the womb, but perfectly acceptable to slaughter unborn children.

And the UN wonders why it’s a laughingstock.

UN has been good about killing children. I mean, they don’t intercede in wars until enough children have died to offset the population

This is hooey. Has the UN made this pronouncement to *any* other country where abortion is prohibited or restricted?

So the UN Committee on Human Rights wants Ireland to deny the first human right, the foundational right to life. Sometimes it’s like one is living in a science fiction movie. Pro-Life laws are not “unacceptable cruelty” as the UN said, but abortion is as Vatican II said, an “unspeakable crime”.

The purpose of these “international government bodies”, such as the UN and the EU, is to supersede, and replace national governments. The European Union is working actively to do that as it comes out with more and more intrusive legislation, designed to eliminate each country’s autonomy.

Their abortion push makes their "UNICEF" efforts a joke, a sad, sick joke.
