You are correct insofar as one congregation has voted to seek a relationship with its homosexual neighbors but the SBC as a whole body did not endorse it at all but affirmed the right of a congregation to make that choice and the right of that congregation to deny the pastor to do so.
Surely the SBC should in some way declare the church to no longer be a Southern Baptist church. What if they endorsed abortion?
