I have no doubt about that. They are however admonished to “come out of her” or partake of her plagues.

Plagues follow evangelical Christianity around as well... it’s not like all the plagues are with the Roman church. Ultimately, I would aver, “coming out” is about a personal attitude of Christian life, not about what the sign says outside of the door of the place you go to worship. If something you hear in a congregation of believers is ungodly, you might not, at least as a first move, go scrambling around looking for that perfect church congregation that doesn’t exist, but you might ignore it and, as possible, lovingly admonish the source, because you know the godly truth. If you can find someplace better, maybe you do go there — and maybe you continue to bloom where planted. Leaving a congregation that has actual believers can be a heart rending experience.
