Actualy, and surprisingly, the sbc has started allowing women head pastors. Not formally just quietly. I discovered this a couple years ago when the sbc threw out a church for having a gay man in a leadership role but theyd had a woman for a long time.
Here is a good list a couple years ago taken from sbc official roster

Yes, that was a very discouraging story about the VA chapels.
There is a scandal daily with this Administration—it is the Cloward-Piven strategy applied on a social level.
And it is fundamentally transforming America.
The problem is, more and more people are believing that sodomy is not a sin.
Exactly. “No female pastors but homosexuality is OK” would definitely be unique to put it mildly.
Also, “you can have all the gay sex you want to but don’t you dare baptize a baby!” makes for strange theology as well.
And let’s not forget pro-abortion Baptists: “kill the baby but don’t you even of think of baptizing it!”
In fairness, I think a lot of folks(mainly libs) operate on emotion only and never think through the logical consequences and implications of their ideas.
But are these pro-female ordination churches affiliated in good standing with the SBC?
Quite frankly, one of the reasons I left the SBC(despite many great things about it and wonderful people in it) was that I couldn’t quite see how a congregationalist denomination could properly discipline erring member churches. Since each church is autonomous, it’s pretty much free to do what it wants and in that case, why not just be a non-denominational church instead?
Good for them.
It's not church's teachings that he needs to worry about. There is all sorts of heresies in so-called Christian churches. Instead the final authority is what does God's Word, the King James Bible, say about lesbians & homosexuals. In Romans 1:18-32, God clearly points out the lesbians & homosexuals are unnatural acts & He calls them reprobates. That's what the Bible says, and that is our final authority.
Very well said.
Sadly, many folks nowadays define the term “hating gays” as meaning any disagreement with homosexual behavior. It’s like saying “hating adulterers” means disagreeing with adultery.
I know a guy who went to my SBC. He moved to another city, joined the choir at his new church. Then, he got up in front of the choir and said he was sad. He was kicked out that day. I can not imagine my ministers accepting this.
So much for Sola Scriptura.
So if a member of a Pastor’s family commits adultery then he must become pro-adultery too????????/ If a member of a Pastor’s family is a child molestor then the Pastor must support child molestors???????
This is what happens when false teachers gain power in churches.
There Is No Third Way Southern Baptists Face a Moment of Decision (and so will you)
It’s because they are celibate, right. If only they would let them marry -— oh, I forgot that’s for Catholics and something else. <sarc off
Perhaps then, he will pack up his Bible and MOVE ON down the road. This IS the country of "second chances."
Absurd. What if his son robbed banks? Would he switch views on Thou Shalt Not Steal?
Yes of course there are second chances, but usually a certain amount of time must pass, to regain his credibility.
These SBC churches will remain SBC no longer, or the denomination is dead.
Chances are, this isn’t really that big of a sea change in this “church’s” body of doctrine. Big jumps into apostasy aren’t possible without a whole lot of little incremental apostasies over probably decades.
