Let’s see if they formally drop their pro-rancher, pro-private property rights, pro-2nd amendment rights stands too. Haven’t heard much from them so it seems like they have.

THIS is Why Republicans should ~not~ have their convention in Las Vegas in 2016.

Fewer than half of the original 520 party delegates were present to vote to approve the platform the evening of April 12 at the party’s annual convention, held at South Point Casino-Hotel in Las Vegas.

The pro-life plank in the national Republican party platform is one thing that has kept the judgement of God at bay.

They may as well adopt the Rat party platform.

IMHO, dump GOP.

Nevada a good place to start.

My idea ?

Bundy’s Brigade should talk amongst themselves and decide which of them will be a candidate for US Senate to replace the crook.

Bundy’s Brigade should form their own party.

They will have national visibility easily.

Their candidates, if elected, should only go for 1 or 2 terms, then done.

True citizen service.

As opposed to the professional political whoring we see now.

I’d be happy to provide them with a short reading list privately to give them a quick anti-globalist’s survival guide.

“Nevada State Party Chairman Michael McDonald told the Las Vegas Review-Journal he thought the party platform was “about inclusion, not exclusion.””

It absolutely sickens me the way liberals twist language to their own perverted ends. Not only did they write God out of their platform, but He is so little esteemed that it doesn’t count as ‘exclusion’ to do so. He is, effectively, a non-entity to them. I guess it’s only “exclusion” when it targets a deviant group. In effect, that implies that only conservatives are capable of being exclusionary. They’re linking us with negative concepts.

It’s just like they corrupted the word “discrimination.” If a black discriminates against a white, why, that’s REVERSE discrimination! You see, the root word has been linked to whites, and I doubt many people even realize that.

I became an Independent during the Bush years, and I haven’t seen anything at all that makes me regret my decision. It’s delusional to think that we can “save” the Republican Party or that it can save us.

Nevada Republicans should just go ahead and drop “Republican” from their party platform.
Maybe they should just be the Party Party or the Fill-in-the-_____ Party.
The word Republic-an obviously has no meaning to them.

Strategically dropping pro life might make sense as it is about a 50% issue, but marriage is still in the 70s!

The title of thread should be “Democrats and Republicans Merge into One Party in Nevada”.

Christie, Romney, JEB Bush, Boehner, Cantor, Ann Coulter, and the rest of the RINOs will be singing the praises of the Nevada GOP.

Bill O’Reilly will say it’s the GOP of the future and if the National GOP wants to win another election they had been see the writing on the wall. Blah, blah, blah.

Nevada Republicans Drop Pro-life, Pro-Marriage Stand Catholic News Agency 04/18/14

============================

Well, that fits in with Nevada's whole image, doesn't it?

Gambling and prostitution. How absolutely charming.
Wouldn't YOU want your daughter and/or son involved in those?

What a wonderful, fruitful, Christian and worthwhile way Nevada plans for the future of their children, innit?

You know, defending the rights of the helpless and such.

GOP is getting back to its roots - making money for Wall Street. Got to find another wedge issue to drum up votes.
