Cuba has now made Good Friday an official national holiday after restoring that Catholic feast as an "exceptional" measure when Pope Benedict XVI visited the island in 2012.

The new Labor Code, passed by the National Assembly in December, established Good Friday as a holiday "every year," Communist Party daily Granma said Tuesday.

Meanwhile in America, Good Friday will soon be replaced by Harvey Milk appreciation day, and will be mandatory for employees to participate in forced march parade.

My dad knows the owner of a machine shop who had an employee come to him and request that they start receiving Good Friday off.

The owner thought about it, and decided that yes, he could swing another paid holiday. But he did not think that it was fair to designate Good Friday based on one employee’s request. So he decided to put it to a vote.

Long story short...all of the employees at this place now get the first day of Pennsylvania Deer Season off every year.
