Finally a Keeper? “Son Of God” and Noah..things looked a bit grim...
Americans by and large being fairly theologically ignorant I’d expect that many who saw the movies mentioned think that Joan Of Arc....was Noah’s wife....../s
Exactly!
If you are a Bible believing Christian, you will love this movie.
If you aren’t. it will open your eyes and you heart.
God Bless
My whole family saw it. Highly recommended.
We liked it also. It was well done, but basic. I think we need a series, which goes further in depth. We meed to teach a whole generation or more of the richness of faith in God. There is so much counter-culture everywhere, in schools, in media, on TV, in books, on Internet, among peer groups, that we must once against spread the word. Missionary work.
I went with a friend to see it the other night. It’s a good one! God’s Not Dead!
I was at a major university in 1966 when Time magazine asked the original question.
Being something of a callow youth, I didn’t realize the import of the question at the time. I also didn’t see that it was a very basic leftard assault against our society and culture.
A few years later, pinned down by an NVA MG, I learned real fast HE wasn’t dead. I may have been, but HE will be there for etrnity.
Haven’t seen the film God’s Not Dead, but love the News Boys song by the same name, which is featured in the commercials for the film.
The song’s refrains are haunting, whereas the chorus is hard charging and openly defiant.
Amazing song.
And it looks like the film is worthy of using it.
Are there two?
Has anyone said if/when it’ll come out on DVD?
Awesome movie and very well done. Loved it.
My wife and I both thought it was an excellent movie and plan on using it for teaching our Confirmation teens.
Do you have the exact title? I looked up “Gods dead not today” and there is no listing.
We saw it tonight. Good movie.
What always gets me about the anti-God/atheist fanatics is they can never explain existence. OK, let’s assume there is no God, then how do you explain away existence? Isn’t everything that exists “God” then? Isn’t it intelligent? No? Then how did Einstein exist? Remember - Everything is God. There is no separation. You can look upon everything that exists as “God” or as my Priest use to say “God is everywhere and everything” and I totally believe that. There is two ultimate realities: Nothing or something. While I am alive I detect “something” or existence - I think therefore I am - so at the very least THAT is God. So to deny God is to deny that I do not exist nor can think which is a lie. And let’s get into proof: Energy can neither be created nor destroyed. It is eternal. It is God.
Son of God was dreadful.
Saved in my Netflix queue.
Excellent movie. Looking forward to seeing it on PPV/DVD.
I’m patiently waiting for it to come to Marin County.
I would like to see a religiously supportive movie that is not over splashy in production or special effects. I’m done with swords and sandals for a while. Most end up like a cake with triple the icing and the florets.
I could go see it in Richmond at Hilltop Plaza, or Emmeryville, but to be honest, I don’t want to leave my junky old car all alone in the parking lot for that long. Not in those areas. Too many Desperados if you know what I mean.
