Of course corporations can have religious views: for instance, I can tell you unequivocally that the St. Mary Magdalene Orthodox Christian Church, Inc., a Kansas corporation, regards the original Nicene Creed (without the filioque) as a statement of the truth of the Christian Faith, holds dyophysite christology as per the declaration of the Council of Chalcedon, anathematizes Nestorianism, Eutychianism, monothelitism, monergianism, and iconoclasm, regards abortion at the whim of the mother as murder, and generally subscribes to the same views on social issues as were summarized by the Russian Orthodox Church in the document Bases of the Social Concept of the Russian Orthodox Church. I can tell you this because all members of the corporation are Orthodox Christians.

Question for Washington Post: Can corporations like newspaper has freedom of speech? I mean it is another Bill of Rights right?

Can corporations be protected by the 4th amendment from unreasonable search and seizure? I mean they are not people.

So isn't it a really dangerous slippery slope to say that corporations are not people and don't have the same constitutional rights that people have?

If we must subsidize her “right” to abortion and monthly contraception - why can’t she and the government subsidize my right to ammunition for my AR-15?

In fact, a 2nd Amendment right is explicit in the Constitution. The right to free birth control is nowhere to be found. As such, my subsidy is even more important than hers.

Speaking of vasectomies, did you know that a man in the military cannot have a vasectomy until he is 24 years old??? Well, he could go to some butcher and have it done, but he cannot use his insurance. But women can render themselves infertile having multiple abortions and many other things with no questions asked.

In an opinion piece in The Washington Post, Fluke called the case a “potential catastrophe for women’s rights,” arguing that “corporations cannot have religious views” and a rule in the favor of religious objections would set America on a dangerous course.

Well Sandra America has been on a dangerous course since the election of the first progressive president over a century ago.

But back to the point; the entire concept of the corporation is a legal fiction foisted on the people to allow the government to tax the income of a business. Hence the word corporation is derived from the Latin word corpus meaning body. So legally the government treats a business as a person in order to tax income.

So why shouldn’t a corporation have religious views? After all, that corporation is paying taxes. And if it does have religious views I would expect that those views should reflect the views of that corporation’s owners who are after all the ones paying the taxes.

The issue that this little trollop seems to be missing is that Hobby Lobby isn’t a corporation like Verizon or GE.

Instead of thousands of individual shareholders Hobby Lobby is tightly held by a small group of family members. Their religious views are indeed the values of the coorporation.

A corporation is an association of individuals who form a company who are legally authorized to act as a single entity (legally as a person) and are recognized as such in law.

Surely, the lawyer Sandra Fluke must know that.

But it begs the question - why are they turning their panties in a knot to disprove what would be in Corporate Law 101?

Wikipedia doesn’t say anything about her parents. It does say that she is now married to Adam Mutterperl, but has retained her name.

Her personal bio page mentions that she has a dog named Mr. President.

Uh oh.

This, coming from a cheap slut too cheap to buy her own $12 a month birth control and thinks someone else should be taxed to do it for her.

The concept of “corporate personhood” has long been recognized and upheld, I think numerous times by the Supreme Court. That in itself should be grounds in finding for the defendant.

Why not?
Corporations have argued for ‘personhood’ status for years.

** the first day of the hearings did not bode well for those who champion the Obamacare contraception mandate, as the Obama administration struggled to present its case to the justices, a majority of whom appeared inclined to protect the religious freedoms of organizations.**

Praying this plays out in this manner.

“Social justice attorney Sandra Fluke

My gosh, what a parasite! Kinda like community organizer.”

Social justice attorney and community organizer are nothing more than politically correct terms for “rabble rouser”
