He made some good points. Then he said idiotic things like this:

Gee, maybe because our Western liturgical translations are from the Latin?

This is an interesting article, and it does seem plain that these differences he mentioned should not be insurmountable, so we should all pray harder for unity, like Jesus Christ did.
Just as a side issue, the sentence I highlighted above is all pretty clear to me except for one phrase that piqued my curiosity: "priestly beards".
Is it an Orthodox requirement that all their priests grow beards? (I know that some Catholic priests have beards, and some don't, and when I think about it, I believe most of the Orthodox priests I've seen in person or in photos have had beards, but I was not aware that that was a requirement, if it is. Does anyone know? And if that is the case, does that same kind of rule apply to the priests in the Eastern Catholic Churches too?)
