I'm sorry, but how is not listening to Rush not open-minded? Let me tell you something-I have a sister who is having a series of strokes and is unemployed and facing foreclosure, and a husband who may have a cancerous tumour. We are awaiting news from his most recent tests.

I'm sorry about your problems. The point is that you had time to listen when you agreed with the guy but didn't when he might say something that may impugn the Popes wisdom (or lack of) in such matters.

Prayers for your husband and your sister. A couple weeks ago, someone belittled me online (Happened again last night.) and at that time I was having difficulty breathing.

It turns out that I am one of those people on whom the a-fib procedures such as a femoral ablation and electro-cardio-version —they shock your heart with a paddle like you see in movies) so it was partly my heart and partly bronchitis. I remember thinking “If they only knew how I felt right now.”
