The Vatican will be around long after Obama is forgotten.
My question to all groups of them that has never been answered to my satisfaction is," How can anyone who claims to be a Christian , vote for a member of a political party whose platform flies in the face of everything taught in the Bible. A Party whose members thrice booed the mention of God at their convention on national television. A Party that believes that it is okay to kill an unborn or partially born baby. A Party that believes that it is okay for two men to lie together as with a woman. A Party that believes that it is okay for two women to lie together as with a man.
That simple question has never been answered by anyone I asked it. In fact, I have never completed the question. They turn in a huff and storm away. So no, My FRiend, I was not intending to cast stones. We Baptists have too much dirt around our front door to focus on any one's shortcomings but ours. I give the same answer when anyone at my church complains about him. "Well, there was a lot of Baptists that voted for him. Hope that they are happy."
It appears that Obama has a serious disdain for the Catholic Church. Maybe it dates back to his Catholic school days and the nuns’ strict discipline.......

If it is accurately reported, someone needs to ask him why, if the other systems are so great, they have to forced on the populace and kept there by force.
Why?
The Catholic Church here in the US has thrown its weight behind Amnesty. The pope just make some statements that sound like (as delivered by the MSM) he is endorsing socialism.
I’m sure these things are pleasing to Obama, but if he wants to diss someone supporting these things, I’m for it.
Amen to that My FRiend. No other generation will be as blessed as we. Soon, the landslide of destruction that the voters, mainly the young, decided to bring down upon them selves in 2008 and 2012 will be reaching them.

I agree with you, LR, generally speaking. Using force as a system of power over the people is never a virtue. Neither is manipulation of wealth, in some parts of capitalism, to such an extreme that poverty in a super rich, resourceful nation is left woefully unattended.
Such a thing has left a gap, in which Marxists have come in, found a play ground, and are busy creating unrest.
Capitalism should have looked around the world and seen this coming. Classical education was left unprotected and now has been wiped out, replaced with political indoctrination.
The Pope makes some uncomfortable points and begins with the source— the condition of poverty, in the midst of increasing wealth.
I would say that unfettered capitalism has made some very rich and powerful Marxists. Education was the tool.
In my comment, I should have said, “ *public* education is the tool”.
Obama’s call to close Vatican embassy is ‘slap in the face’ to all Christians and other non-muslims.
