This is very true, reference the "films" of Kirk Cameron.
On the subject of Christian pop music/Christian rock, it always sounds to me as though the music itself - not the lyrics, the actual music - has been "softened". If Ilm going to listen to, say, metal - one of my favorite forms of music - then I want to hear screaming, wailing, high-concept classic distortion notes played at mind numbing speeds, not a vague form of that that's been made to sound "safer".
