Good question. Why is it also being ignored on FR? I’m a KofC and got an email two days ago telling me about the airing. I also posted the same thing to FR. Not one reply.
Everyone that puts down the Pope and thinks he’s more liberal than JP2 and Benedict16 need to watch this. Carl Anderson, Supreme Knight, has personally met with him and said he has the the same positions as any other Pope. Catholic social doctrine remains the same, no matter who the Pope might be. Francis style is more open. That’s about it.

I got an email, too. Maybe it’s available streaming from the K of C’s website. We don’t have cable or satellite tv.

Francis so far has show that he is up there in Obama’s league. Obama deliberate wrecks America, while Francis busily shows him to be the equal of all the popes subsequent to Pope Pius XII. He will carry on the work of maintaining and expanding the new religion created subsequent to Vatican II.

He is an all inclusive pope. He wants the homosexuals to join in and contribute their talents. He wants all sorts of modernist heresies that will complete the job of relegating the Church to a mere shadow of what it once was over fifty years ago.

Is Jesus pleased?

Jesus wept.

Thanks for the ping! I saw it advertised on FoxNews. Appreciate the reminder to watch.

"He wants the homosexuals to join in and contribute their talents."

Of course he does. Where else can the homosexuals go for the words of eternal life?

Read this:

"Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor ldolators, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers shall inherit the kingdom of God." (I Corinthians 6:9-10).

And then read the next verses:

"And such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God." (I Corinthians 6:11).

"And such were some of you" is a message of hope which seems lost in the church in the 21th century. If change was not required the Bible would not speak against homosexuality; if change was not possible the apostle Paul could never have written: "And such were some of you."

Yes, we want the homosexuals to join in and contribute their talents; we want them healed and sanctified, just like the rest of us sinners.

But you never hear about "Courage", the Catholic support group for chastity for the homosexually inclined, just like you never hear of the "Couple to Couple League", the support group for chastity for married people. The very helps we have for living in sexual virtue, have been buried under a bushel. Or really, buried under a thousand tons of rubbish.

I fully blame the Bishops and pastors for that (including the Chief Pastor)... but ought I not first to blame myself?

IbJensen: what are you doing, what am I doing, to welcome homosexuals to the Sacraments -- particularly Penance and Communion --- and to help them heal their deep personality wounds and live as peaceful, joyful, hopeful penitents with the rest of us?

We have much to repent of as well: Paul does mention "REVILERS" and there's a label that sticks.

Who even gives us --- us, you know, the revilers, let alone them, the homosexuals --- a profound and challenging example of living as a penitent, saved by Christ, nourished by His Sacraments, shielded in the embrace of Mater Ecclesia, our dear Mother the Church?

There are four sorts of active sinners I don’t want serving on the liturgy committee or anything else for that matter:

Murderers
Defrauders of widows and orphans
Defrauders of workers
Homosexuals

I didn’t just pick those four at random.

You mean--- to make an important distinction-- sodomites, that is, people who practice active homosexuality. Not merely ":homosexuals," who are people who experience same-sex attraction: a disorder, a temptation, but not a sin per se.

And yes, as I understand it, these are the four sins that cry out to heaven for vengeance:

Murder (Gn 4:10), sodomy (Gn 17:20-21), oppression of the poor (Ex 2:23), and defrauding workers of their just wages (Jas 5:4).

http://watch.foxnews.com/ seems to indicate you can stream Fox Business News. I am using a 2003 laptop at the moment with no hope of streaming but can someone check? But the schedule shows ‘paid programming’?

I can’t figure it out. Probably have better luck finding it bootlegged on Youtube. The kids can watch Youtube on our television through the DVD player’s receiver (if that’s possible), but I can’t do it even though they’ve explained it several times.

There’s a very good series of science videos on Youtube called “Smarter Every Day,” if you have enough bandwidth for it.

I am setting up Hulu and a Plex server and other streaming possibilities for my mother — who has a high-bandwidth connection and a little Android box plugged into the back of her TV (kind of like your DVD receiver), but there is no way she’ll ever be able to select programming herself — the kids or me will have to do it (live only a block away).

This all got started, BTW, because she wanted to watch Glenn Beck — but now isn’t sure she wants to pay the $10/month.

A Pope can do a lot of damage without ever uttering an unorthodox syllable. All he has to do is take advice from the wrong people, appoint the wrong kind of people, and say the wrong things to the press.
