The God of the Bible has made it clear what He thinks about abortion. I would not want to oppose Him on this issue.

I would say that the simplest way to decide whether it’s ok is to use the exact same arguments, but substitute slavery for the term abortion.

Try it.

The vast majority of pregnant women had a choice in whether or not to have inseminating sex.

Is it OK to excerpt your blog when you could post the full content?

Liberals are opposed to personal choice.

The only choice they think should be allowed is who you sleep with and whether you have an abortion.

Other than that, they require you to keep your mouth shut and do what you’re told.

Does the baby get a choice?

Sure, if you agree that killing babies all the way up to the point of birth is a good idea.

Not for me though.

He knows us in the womb. The "up side" of it is that those killed in the womb get to enjoy Heaven without the travails of the disintegrating societies of the world.

On another note, isn't it interesting how the Left keeps co-opting phraseology that had distinct and varying meanings and turns it into a descriptive for some of the most evil acts that Mankind has devised...

No. Not really. I don’t feel obligated to protest. But I do feel obligated to explain my personal position when it’s discussed.

The conversation usually ends when I say the I must disagree, agreeably with your “choice” position...(to kill your baby.)

The only way you can avoid a shared responsibility in a decision to abort is to take a stand against abortion, i.e., to be “pro-life.”

Amen! Absolutely.

I had a bumper sticker on my car a number of years back that said:

PRO-WOMAN, PRO-CHILD, PRO-LIFE

I got mixed responses from other drivers. Some would honk and give a thumbs up and others, like one woman I spoke to at the post office, who actually commented on it, disapproved - not because it said Pro-life but because it said Pro-Woman. She thought it was too "feminist". I think we forget sometimes that there IS a woman involved and not just the unborn child and that abortion truly damages her, as well. That is why I supported and volunteered at our local Crisis Pregnancy Center because it gave tangible as well as emotional and spiritual support to the woman as well as her baby. She was empowered by learning about her baby, the reality of abortion and its risks and heartaches, the positive choices she DID have that she could live with afterward and which involved the entire family support system that she needed to see her pregnancy through instead of what was sold as a convenient way to be "rid" of it.

As pro-lifers we MUST be more that speakers of that truth but DOERS, too. Many times the pro-abortion/anti-life forces accuse us of only caring about the unborn baby and not the needs of the mother. Let's prove to them more than we ever have in the past that this is untrue and unfounded.

A great proponent of life is Dr. David Reardon. He said something that struck me as quite profound and a worthy cause we should all strive for and it is that when the truth about abortion is finally known and society fully aware of the great evil and damage abortion causes to ALL areas of life it won't have to be made illegal because it will become UNTHINKABLE. May this truly be our goal with the help of Almighty God!

Yes sir, God sure is clear on the matter. Life begins at conception. Right there in all those Genesis geneologies we all usually skim through. Notice in a Genesis genealogy it says a certain man begat a certain son. It does not say born to or birthed. It says begat, the conception event.

So life according to Genesis starts at conception. That leads us then to thou shalt not murder. And that is abortion, murder.

How long before God judges this nation for offering babies on the altar of Molech?

How about an excerpt from an essay titled "Is the Earth Round or Flat?"
