A “beautiful and glamorous Great Whore-” might not necessarily be female—nations are sometimes referred to as female, as are ships. Beautiful and glamorous may mean riches of THIS world, that so many “follow” and strive for.
It’s funny. After the election(selection) in 2012 of Benghazi Barry, I was not depressed—I was pissed, but not depressed. I even had a cousin who was scared to call me after the election for fear I was in a strait-jacket because of the results.

She is a neoliberal. She is loathed by the right and by the leftists as someone who is trying to make capitalism palatable by adding to it just enough welfare and regulation to keep the proles quiet.
We on the right want her to stop coddling billionaires and bums. Those on the left want her to stop coddling billionaires and do a lot more coddling of the bums.
If we could temporarily unite forces with the leftists to get these neoliberals to stop coddling billionaires then that might be a good first start.
Then we could fight the leftists over how much money to give to the bums.
Each and everyone of us have our own end times which we should prepare for and concentrate on.
Our time may be tonight — so why worry about the general end times?
That means we are 50 years closer...
