Featured Term (selected at random):

SACRAMENT OF THE APOSTOLATE

The sacrament of confirmation viewed as divinely established for enabling Christians not only to preserve their own faith but to share it with others. It effects are similar to what occurred on Pentecost Sunday, when the Holy Spirit came down on the Apostles and gave them the wisdom, zeal, and courage they needed to proclaim the Gospel and promote the Kingdom of Christ.
