You know what has really helped me preserve my sanity about current events? Updating the American Martyrology done by Father Holweck in the 1920s. Just reading stories after stories after stories of martyrdom and white martyrdom. The heathen may rage but the faithful soul remains unconquered—and a savage murder becomes a celebrated birthday into eternity.
Gonna try and publish it before the end of the year. We really need those examples in these times.
