I stopped taking this OP seriously after the first two “answered questions.”

“Rabbi”: the mark of a Pharisee as Jesus himself was referred to many times in the Gospels. They were the only order “ordaining” through “simikha”, or the laying on of hands. They're used as a punching bag throughout, oft times coming off worse than the Romans or Sadducees of The Temple. They are the order through which most of modern Judaism is derived.

This looks like it could be a good resource for RCIA. Thanks.

The cover of the book shows the interior of a pre-Vatican church with the tabernacle centrally located, as it should be in my opinion.
It makes me homesick.

Thanks for posting...excellent apologetics at my fingertips!!! Love Catholic Theology——the sheer Common Sense of tying “Reason to Faith”-—as St. Thomas did so well. Am a huge St. Thomas Aquinas fan and GK Chesterton fan-—and also a CS Lewis fan, although he wasn’t Catholic.

This was really interesting reading.
As somebody who was raised a protestant, this has answered many questions I have had for many years.
Thanks for posting this.

The cover of the book shows the interior of a pre-Vatican church with the tabernacle centrally located, as it should be in my opinion. It makes me homesick. All Maronite Catholic churches maintain the tabernacle directly behind the altar. Give it a try ... you may discover the beauty of the East.

You see, Catholics and Protestants are united together by virtue of their common baptism in the name of the Trinity. Every baptism performed in the name of the Holy Trinity -- Father, Son and Holy Spirit -- is essentially a Catholic baptism, and every Protestant church performs baptism this way Not true nowadays--there are any number of religious gatherings masquerading as Christians "baptizing" in the name of the "Creator, Redeemer, and Sactifier" or other modalistic functionaries. Even heard of "rock, womb, and life-force".
This Lutheran agrees with EENS--and what is described in my first paragraph is not ecclesia.

Catholics for Protestants? Yea I’m for that. I’m for Protestants to quit protesting and come back to the true faith.
