My question is what good can come of it? The only thing I can think would be that perhaps providing an opportunity for some young forming minds to see that being a young man with male interests can be enjoyable. Perhaps a rare opportunity for many of them.
I am opposed to the BSA's apparent decision. I have a son who is 6 months to a year away from becoming an Eagle Scout, and it is disturbing to see the organization go this direction.
On the other hand, just maybe, it might be that a kid who thinks he might be homosexual could change his mind after being around real boys. I'm inclined to think that the question of same sex attraction comes more out of ambivalence rather than actual desire, until the propensity is reinforced through conditioning.
So, as long as homosexual leadership is prohibited, there may be some good come from it. But I suspect that will go by the wayside after the first "homosexual" Eagle Scout reaches age 18 and demands to be part of leadership.
I've tried to explain to supporters that they would not like a gym teacher watching their son or daughter in the shower if they knew they were homosexual, but they have become so conditioned to this evil, they cannot even admit they wouldn't sacrifice their own child on Satan's alter. It's no different than homosexual pedophile priests, or NAMBLA, or John Wayne Gacey.
If you were homosexual, what motivation would you have to want to spend all your time with boy children? How many boys will be raped before we simpletons figure out that it's not healthy to place your child in a tent with a grown man that wants to rape him? I, as a heterosexual, would not be allowed to have sleep overs with your daughter, so why place your son in that position?
IMO, there will come a time, decades from now, where children adopted by homosexuals, will recount their abuse for years with no recourse. All you have to do to know something is wrong is notice the sex of their adoptee's . Men adopt boys and lesbian's adopt girls. Will we gasp when we find out about their abuse?
Absolutely no good will come of this.
The homos activists will now make sure that the BSA do not just “allow” homosexuals, they will have to celebrate and promote homsexualism. And the very next step - already written into their playbook - is homo scout leaders. After, all the little faggots need grown up faggots for role models.
