Rick Warren is not one of my favorite Pastors, but I feel very badly for him right now. This has to be a terrible hole in his heart, and he deserves our prayers.
This is the second minister’s son I am aware pf that has committed suicide. I also know personally a minister’s daughter that decided to become a minister, did so, then decided she was gay. Minister’s kids are used by satan and his evil minions to torture the ministers.
My heart goes out to him and my prayers are with him and his family. Losing a child is very, very painful, and even in the best circumstances there is the blame game, denial, and guilt to deal with. I pray that the Lord would hold them close and give them His strength, joy, love, hope, and peace - and an extra-real comprehension of what it means that Jesus conquered sin, death, and the devil.
