Interesting.
1Co 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which also I received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
1Co 15:4 and that he was buried; and that he hath been raised on the third day according to the scriptures;
1Co 15:5 and that he appeared to Cephas; then to the twelve;
1Co 15:6 then he appeared to above five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain until now, but some are fallen asleep;
1Co 15:7 then he appeared to James; then to all the apostles;
1Co 15:8 and last of all, as unto one born out of due time, he appeared to me also.
Matt 24:9-14 (KJV)
...the love of many will wax (grow) cold. That is, they will turn away from God. For instance, they will stop believing in the resurrection.
That kind of change in one year suggests there’s something going in with the poll, not a major change in Americans’ religious belief.
Why would anyone ask anyone that question?
And yet... “The Bible” was tops in the ratings, even though it was on the History Channel, not a traditional network.
Go Figure.
Percent Of Americans Believing In The Resurrection Drops To 64% From 77% Last Easter
The road to Hell is slow but steady..........
This is disinformation to go along with what they thought would be an athiest victory in the USSC over the cross.
The problem is, they didn't win.
There will probably be other bogus "polls" and "studies" out this week or next. Whenever they think they have a victory in the bag, they plan ahead to have this stuff come out to help preempt anyone who manages to break through the media defenses and get heard by the public.

2. A year ago people lied about their religious beliefs, while this year they are emboldened to speak thier minds OR:
3. Folks who felt free to tell the truth last year are lying this year to conceal their religious beliefs.
Yet the questions has to be asked, if this lack of belef is so, why did a tv miniseries called “ The Bible “ gain traction in viewer response?
Could it be a sign of a great “hunger and thirst” for what is right and true?
However,those who believe in zombies rose to 77%!
Well...36% say they don’t believe. The number...whether it is increasing or decreasing is irrelevant. The real question is...DO YOU BELIEVE?
My work as a Deacon and preacher/teacher is to “Believe what I read (Sacred Scriptures). Teach what I believe. Practice what I teach.; to serve God’s people through baptism and evangelization. I love evangelizing the lost and will do all I can to help that 36%, because God wants that and Jesus died and rose for that reason.

I believe this poll. With more Americans embracing secularism, it would stand to reason that their religious beliefs would erode. You cannot serve two masters. Many have chosen new false idols.
Between academia, the media, the entertainment industry, the distortion of the Constitution, the failing judicial system and the determined marxist element which has moled its way into every one of our institutions I look for Christians to be holding religious services in torchlit underground tunnels in some future generation.

Polls?
This should tell us all about the state of our once beloved country! Woe to them that call evil good and good evil!
