Yes Christianity is a great series. Fr. Barron’s review of the Pope still left me with something missing. Fr. Barron seemed to regard Pope Benedict’s work as finished. I find accepting his resignation as difficult for I thought that decision should be God’s. I see the position as more than a President becoming an ex-President.

If the pomp and circumstance part of became too much, I could see that being easily off-loaded as long as his mind can still offer insights befitting a Pope. It seems a resignation cuts off this opportunity in deference to the next Pope. I will just leave it as something else beyond my comprehension. God Bless,
