From this evening's Ash Wednesday Mass as a monumental Lent begins for the world's 1.2 billion Catholics, here's the Vatican's English translation of Joseph Ratzinger's final homily as Pope Benedict XVI, bishop of Rome, the 264th successor of St Peter.
Just “Wow”!
Just Wow!

I so agree. It is an anointed homily!
Watching the conclusion of today’s mass. Cardinal Bertone has just delivered one of the most moving dedications to the pope. The entire congregation rose in applause that lasted so long the pope had to ask them to please return to prayer. I posted a link but it is missing the entire speech. Will try to find and post it, as well.
