Many liberals believe that “the enemy of my enemy is my friend”. They befriend all groups that despise Christianity (their enemy), even if these groups conflict with each other. Nonetheless, these liberals will pledge their allegiance to whichever anti-Christian group they think is the strongest at the moment. In the past, it used to be Communism. Today and in the near future, it will be Islam.

The Muslims are where they've always been. Christianity was at the same place the Muslims are at only with in the last 100 years.

Some would argue that it was only with in the last 30 years that Christianity, in the larger sense, moved beyond institutional violence. So don't be so quick to judge the two as being so radically different.

Religiously yes, but their methods, not so much.

An example
During the late 1930s and the 1940s, Jehovah's Witnesses attacked the Roman Catholic Church and other Christian denominations so vigorously that many states and municipalities passed laws against their inflammatory preaching.

History has proven the two are not so different.

I'll never understand why people get so hung up about "theocracy." In a "theocracy," the laws have a legitimate basis.

I'm still trying to figure out the basis of the innumerable laws passed and advocated by people whose only ultimate reality is oblivion.
