We have had murder, adultery, sodomy, theft, lying, ect since the beginning, but it was always recognized as sin. Today, the Dem platform trumpets murder and sodomy as a " must have" today. No culture in modern history has ever done such. They even openly hate God in their Convention and "Christians" still vote for them. When you are lost, you are dead, and dead people cannot see or hear God.
The Democrats have become the communists of old.
The Democratic Party of America platform is evil, plain for all to see, officially stated in so many ways. Yes, there are evil Republicans, but it is not the Republican party’s official, in your face, platform to support these evils and to force everyone to participate.
It is not surprising to see so many posts on this page support voting Democrat. It is still sad, though.
Agree. It isn’t just abortion which is awful enough. It’s the many other things Democrats stand for. How can a Christian rationalize supporting the Democrats when a large majority want to remove the Christian God from their platform? And, yes, it is a sin to support them.
Yes. It is a sin to vote for baby killers, or those who promote baby killing. Pure and simple. It’s been that way since early Christianity. Before Christianity, people killed their unwanted children at will. Christianity changed that. Most of the baby killers are Democrats. Yes, it is a sin to vote for them.
It might not be sinful to vote for a Democrat, but I don’t know any Democrats on the ballot today, whom I find any intent in God’s Plan for anybody to support. Ergo, voting for many Democrats on the ballot today would indeed be sinful.
Most Democratic positions today seem to fly in the face of Scripture. to wit...
Rom 13:14
(14) But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
Actually, the Democratic platform is closer to classic fascism. Strong central government is allied with select big businesses who form monopolies enforced by that central government.
China is an example of modern day fascism simply because they had to swallow the Hong Kong pill and the Communist leaders’ wives and children discovered that they liked air conditioning, and that private jets taking them on vacation anywhere in the world at a moment’s whim is far more appealing than watching the rear end of two oxen pulling them in an unsprung rickshaw along a rutted dirt road.
Short answer: Yes.
Your life on earth will be hell if they’re, elected.
Not just yes, but Hell yes.
That said, I would fear any church that would bring sanctions against a member for their vote.
That’s easy. The biggest “yes” I can give.
Deserves to be posted again.
Answer to the original question: Yes, it is. 'Pod
The rather obvious question: So, did Jesus sin when he converted water into wine?
Use some discernment.
yes. to support babykillers is a sin.
Are the Democrats evil?
In my 19 years of voting, I’ve never voted for a Democrat (officially). I’ve voted for some poor republicans. But I’ve NEVER EVER voted for a DEMONRAT!
For ME, it would be sinful to pull the lever for the D candidate. I can’t answer for anybody else.
I have voted for pro-life democrats in the past when they were opposed by pro-abortion leaning republicans. Doesn’t happen often, but occasionally. However, I cannot vote for the national ticket based on their pro-abortion/pro-gay/anti-family stance. This is how I believe we should vote...for the most honest, God-fearing candidate. In the local races, there are a lot of options, as local people tend to be more home-townish and carry the same values. It depends on where you live, of course. Large cities tend to be more progressive/leftist. Small towns tend to be more pro-American, pro-Constitutional, etc.
For me, it would be sinful to intentionally enable a movement or power structure that is working for a culture of anti-God and death.
But each person has their own conscience to deal with. I have thought, done and said sinful things that I did not realize until later.
Yes. Next question?
