Brothers and sisters in Christ, I would like to ask for prayers for the Anglican Ordinariate here in the U.S. Based on the discussions at the AngloCatholic website and elsewhere, it's going through some tough times as it is being organized, and the Enemy is sowing suspicion and doubt everywhere in an effort to kill the venture in the cradle.
It's time for us Roman Catholics to storm heaven in prayer for our Anglo-Catholic brethren.
And if you'd like, please post an encouraging word or two of public support and encouragement of these dear souls, so beloved of God, who have risked so much and stepped out into the unknown to end almost 500 years of schism and fulfill the Pontifical mission of Anglicanorum Coetibus.
"This is how all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." -John 13:34-35
TOPICS: Catholic; Ecumenism; Mainline Protestant; Prayer
KEYWORDS:
St. Peter, Prince of the Apostles, pray for us!
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, pray for us!

Other rite Catholics can also attend their liturgies, which are very nice. If there’s one in your area, go occasionally because it encourages them.

They are in my prayers, Claud. Haven’t noticed them here in western Ohio yet, although I do look forward to it. Deo Gratias!

Well, you can find more details about the issues here:

But this is meant to be a prayer thread, not a discussion thread, so I’d humbly ask posters here to respect that.

Eternal Father, we offer Thee the merits of the Most Precious Blood of Jesus, Thy Beloved Son and my Divine Redeemer, for all my relations, friends and enemies, for the poor, the sick, and those in tribulation, and for all those for whom Thou willest I should pray, or knowest that I ought to pray.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Blessed and praised forevermore be Jesus Who hath saved us by His Precious Blood!
Eternal Father, I offer Thee the merits of the Most Precious Blood of Jesus, Thy Beloved Son and my Redeemer, for all those who shall this day pass to another life, that Thou mayest preserve them from the pains of Hell and admit them the more readily to the possession of Thy glory.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Our Lady of Walsingham, ora pro nobis!
I’ll be praying for this most important part of Holy Mother Church. Persevere!

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the word of life: For the life was manifested; and we have seen and do bear witness, and declare unto you the life eternal, which was with the Father, and hath appeared to us: That which we have seen and have heard, we declare unto you, that you also may have fellowship with us, and our fellowship may be with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things we write to you, that you may rejoice, and your joy may be full. And this is the declaration which we have heard from him, and declare unto you: That God is light, and in him there is no darkness.
(1 John 1-5)
Lord Jesus, shine Thy face on Thy servants in the Anglican Ordinariate and stay with them forever.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, in the fellowship of saints in heaven, amen.

Lord Jesus Christ, at your Last Supper you prayed to the Father that all should be one. Send your Holy Spirit upon all who bear your name and seek to serve you. Strengthen our faith in you, and lead us to love one another in humility. May we who have been reborn in one baptism be united in one faith under one Shepherd. Amen.

Prayer for Unity of the Church
Heavenly Father, your blessed Son Jesus, asked that his Church be one as you and he are one, but Christians have not been united as Jesus prayed. We have isolated ourselves from each other and failed to listen to each other. We have misunderstood and ridiculed others and even gone so far as to attack each other. In doing so, we have offended you and all our brothers and sisters in the Church, and all who have not believed in you because of our scandalous disunity.
Forgive us , Father and make us fully one. Wipe out out our sins, renew our minds, en-kindle our hearts and guide us by your Holy Spirit into that oneness which is your will. Amen.
