Naw. In every nation around the world, there will always be many who do not bow the knee to the Baals. They may not stand out in the public square, but they’ll be there.

These nasty “same-sex” habits have been around for a very long time. I would say that rather than the end of Christendom, it actually marks the end of these ungodly Marxists; they just do not know it yet.

A fertile area for evangelization for the Lord.

Exactly.

When analysed at the Galbraith laboratories, Knoxville, Tennessee, USA, it was found that these sulphur balls are 95-98% pure sulphur. The impurities in the sulphur are metals that would add to the heat given off. These sulphur balls burn at 5,000-6,000 degrees Fahrenheit. The Galbraith Laboratories said that a BTU test could not be done as it would damage their stainless steel testing chamber!

The brown burn ring can be clearly seen around the sulphur

These sulphur balls must have been burning at some time in the past, because of the presence of brown burn rings around them. This is a sulphur compound formed when molten sulphur cools very quickly, and is evidence that these sulphur balls were once on fire.

These cities are indeed unique. Other cities that have been destroyed by fire or by volcanoes, like Pompeii, have a layer of ash on top, but under that is the original material. Here, however, we see entire cities completely turned to ash, exactly as the Bible describes.

“Already the fifteen Christian groups (Catholic and Protestant) at Vanderbilt have been kicked off campus for refusing, by principle, to allow gays on their leadership teams.”

Yet supposedly Christian parents keep sending their children off to these indoctrination centers and pay high prices to have them into the very thing the parent oppose or say they oppose.

One of the “binaries” that Christendom has accepted wholesale is the number of children born out of wedlock and the prevalence of fornication among the young.

Oh, yes there's the usual clucking sounds about this isn't good and something should be done, something short calling a sin a sin and one that will bar one from entering the kingdom. “Too judgmental, cluck, cluck”.

“The “cataclysm” is due to the invasion into the “Christian” West of pagan spirituality, with its strident intention to “eliminate the binary.”

The “Christian” West invited the pagan spirituality in by offering higher criticism of the Bible, it's desire to be modern and sophisticated in religion and morals and a general loss of urgency about preaching the good news.

Christianity is disintegrating due to it’s own inherent weaknesses. It began as a Torah Observant Jewish sect that reached out to the ‘nations’ and was overwhelmed by them when they responded to it’s preaching. The demographics meant that the original Jewish Idea and teachings of Yeshua were eventually changed into a Greco-Roman antithesis. The Torah teachings and practice of Yeshua were replaced by anti-Torah teachings from other cultures. By the time of the Nicene Council Jewish leaders were not invited, and later on, banned. The practices of Yeshua and the apostles were forgotten and replaced with reworked traditions from the classical cultures. (Ex.: St. Peter’s statue in the Basilica at Rome is actually an ancient statue of Zeus!) The only way out of this mess is a return to Torah, with Israel in the lead, the nations following.

I must say...Nay, not so. By the time of the Christian apostles Judaism had become a sclerotic caricature of Torah observance. 70 a.d. ended that.

The faux-Christianity, the “broad way”, of today awaits its own version of 70 a.d.

The end of Christendom is greatly exaggerated. The synagogue of Satan tried and failed. Rome under the Caesars couldn’t stop it. Rome under the great whore has slaughtered untold numbers. Lastly, the antichrist will try, but unless those days are shortened for the elect’s sake, no flesh would be saved.

“You search the scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of me. But you are not willing to come to me that you may have life.” (John 5:39,40)

The Christian faith is growing and spreading, in Africa, Asia, and in Latin America.

The Christian faith has a way of renewing itself.

Look for those coutnries that had the Christian church in the west send missionaries, now return the favor by sending missionaries to the west for a new evangelization.

This is a good article as far as it points out the anti-Christian moorings of Obama's gay nationalist ideology, although paradoxically, Obama expressed it by referecing his version of Christianity.

I think the otherwise valuable article goes asray, however, by identfying this error with Hinduism.

Historic, classic Hinduism is robustly pro-heterosexual: as the phrase goes, they "uphold the gender binary."

(Incidentally, I'm sick of that word "gender.")

Feminist liberal-ladies' massage-parlor yoga is not the same as Hinduism. (Just as a feminist liberal-ladies' massage-parlor nunnery is not the same as Catholicism.) It is often the diametrical opposite.

Shep’s apparently not “fair and balanced” when it comes to this issue. “Same Sex Marriage” is just a financially and politically motivated sham. The longer we dwell on this, the longer we avoid real issues that affect the masses, like employment, fair taxation, budgets, worldwide domination by Islam, etc.

Thank you for the ping, Mrs! I was just thinking about this last night - hadn’t seen the article, but about Hinduism and homosexuality. You are entirely correct. I was even thinking about finding texts from the Manu Samhita (ancient Vedic book of legal stuff) and finding what it has to say about punishments for homosexuals; I’ve read it before but it would be edifiying to quote. Maybe today I’ll have time. IIRC it was castration and death for men, cutting off a finger and something else for women.

Homosexuality was not only not tolerated or promoted, it was villified and punished. And the treatment and position of women, while definitely not up to (or down to...) western standards, was IMHO excellent. Of course modern corruption has set in everywhere. Women were considered the other of half men - literally; a husband was to consider his wife the other half of his body, and vice versa. He was to protect her as he would protect his own self.

(Re-injured hurty toe last night, crawling around today. Be back later.)

Not according to Philip Jenkins, it is the Christian faith which is booming in what is called the “global south” and in a special way, the Catholic and the Evangelical churches.

“The “Christian” West invited the pagan spirituality in by offering higher criticism of the Bible, it’s desire to be modern and sophisticated in religion and morals and a general loss of urgency about preaching the good news.”

The problem also has been a “lack” of good Christian scripture scholars, not too many.
