Guess I will have to dust off my copy of the Catechism and see where it talks about essential government programs...

Socialist/Communist government murdered more than 100 million of their own citizens in the past hundred years, but I guess the bishops don’t consider that to be too high a number.

Maybe the Bishops should address how it is “moral” to use the coercive power of the state to extract wealth from one bunch of people in order to give it to another.

Robbing Peter to pay Paul, Bishop?

Charity is supposed to come from the heart, not armed government coercion.

Just some left wing lunatics who make me want to puke.

Pious b@#*^%^s who apparently think the high moral ground is to steal money from working people and hand it out to loafers, druggies, pimps and whores just to scrape up a few votes.

Silly me! I thought the reason we put money in the collection plate and poor box was to provide for the needs of those unable to make a living wage. And I thought the reason we paid taxes was to fund necessary government functions, like Defense.

Nos genuflectitur ad non princeps sed Princeps Pacem!

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

Ryan’s plan must be a good one if the Catholic Bishops are holy-kincker knotted.

And Bishops....is it not the Churchs’ duty to take care of the poor and widowed??? Step up and start acting like Christ wants you to. Care for the poor with the money that is tithed to you. Encourage your congregation to care for those less fortunate...but why put the burden on the government???

The Catholic Church has a few nickels laying around. Maybe they should should take over these transfer-of-wealth payments to those whom they believe are in need. God loves a cheerful giver, Bishop.

What's that? You would have enough left to build another cathedral? Tsk, tsk.

Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's;... and render the rest to Caesar too, while you're at it.

or something like that.

I am a Catholic, but the Bishops’ desire for social justice is what brought us Obamacare. How is that one working out for you, bishops?

There would be fewer poor if the GOP and Democrats spent more time putting Americans to work instead of exporting their jobs to the rest of the world.

This is why part of me thinks the whole contraception mandate is a sham.

Forgive me friend, but I have see to many false flag operations. I expect a “compromise” in October letting parts of the Catholic church not follow the mandate, and a surge of Catholics supporting Obama.

I sure wish the bisops would supply us all with their backgrounds in economic training?

As Paul Ryan has already pointed out...he believes in his plan BECAUSE he cares about the poor.

Maybe the Bishops should ponder why these programs are in such sad straits. FRAUD.

These dingys dont seem to realize that the more tax money the socialists extract from the producers the greater power Socialism has to prolong the dependence that is poverty. The Socialists create giant welfare schemes that enamor the poor to themselves, not to God...

The church along with the BISHOPS lose big time. These guys are supposed to have degrees of higher learning but they talk like naive children and wrong headed simps. Psssst guess what fellas...you keep aiding and abetting the socialist tax machines and there will be no money left with which to fund CATHOLIC CHARITIES..and you too fall under the socialist thumb. You will then have no power or money whatsoever to really help the poor!
WAKE UP...AND SHUT UP.

(another thing if you SPEAK IN A MANNER THAT DISRESPECTS THE COMMON SENSE OF FREE MEN THEN YOU WILL NOT HAVE THEIR RESPECT OR SUPPORT....TAKE MY ADVICE AND START WALKIN THIS CRAP BACK ASAP!)
