Jesus didn’t found a church, he set an example and led the way to heaven for all of us.
No where in the Bible does it say there are infallible humans (Popes) or to pray to dead people (Saints). Or to pray over totems and relics.
he did found a Church (”on this rock...”). The Popes are not infallible humans, nowhere do we believe that — please do read a bit before spouting incorrect statements.
St. Paul thought differently.
Rom 15:30 - join me by your
prayers to God on my behalf
Col 4:3, 1Thess 5:25 - pray for us
2Thess 1:11 - we always pray for you
2Thess 3:1 - finally, brothers, pray for us
Eph 6:18-19 - making
supplication for all the saints & for me
He says flatly in Matthew 16 that that's what he's doing. Didn't he follow through?
Here’s a question you can’t answer..
Where in the Bible is the concept of Sola Scriptura discussed or referenced?
And I’ll take Popes & Saints over folks that would reject a man for not being politically correct any day.
