I remember (vaguely because I needed to go outside and smoke a cigarette) a portrait of Mohammed, which was a gift (I thought from Mohammed) to one of the Popes. I remember it was yucky colors, yucky hair, and then my nicotine addiction won out over any interest I had in it.

I love Robert Spencer. He’s such a hero. I’m sure he has spoken to the German researcher who was commissioned by the Merkel government to write an official document on Islam. He could find no evidence Mohammed ever existed. He published his report and immediately went into hiding.

In order to justify their own lives as they were living them, perhaps? Why do modern activist homosexuals in a Christian milieu get so vehement in their denial of certain passages in the Bible, or of the bible or Christianity as a whole?
When I look at Islam and how that religion advanced through history I see exactly what L Ron Hubbard was trying to do with Scientology.
There is not a doubt in my mind that both Mohammad and Hubbard were attempting the exact same thing, building a cult around themselves for money, power and influence. What guy back in the 7th century didn’t want what he had? Women to be used and abused at any time a man wanted, guilt free murder of anyone who didn’t believe what you did, etc.

I suspect Mo really did exist. Many times the rest of the world starts to document a fellow only after his influence has grown big enough to be worth saving.
