I do believe that World War 1 and all that followed did Herald the End times. Arnold Fruchtenbaum, says in hs book “Footsteps of the Messiah” that “Nation rising against nation and Kingdom against Kingdom” of Matthew 24 is a Hebraic way of saying World War. There had never been anything on such a scale of destruction, and the West has never recovered from it.

I happen to be going through a history of the Church course, and just finished the Late Middle Ages. I cannot imagine living then and *not* thinking it was the end of the world.

I thought of this reading your post about WWI. I think we can point to many incredibly calamitous times in history and yet...

We just can’t know, and if I had to venture a guess, the end would be hidden, then “well, of course..” Like the saying: “The answer - when finally found - will be obvious.

Just MHO.
