Funny, this story never made our local news in Pittsburgh AND the story says the claims were investigated - and found to be bogus.
You wouldn’t happen to be trolling the ‘net for anti-Catholic garbage to post, now would you?
Just sayin’
My first MIL passed at 53. Her ex-husband and father of her 6 kids dug her grave personally. I found it odd but he was a volunteer groundskeeper at the cemetary so I guess I could understand.
He dug the grave too narrow.
There we were, about 200 people standing around this grave, the poor guy with one foot on the casket and one foot on the ground, digging frantically at the sides of the hole with a 6 foot long crowbar.
I (standing behind my wife of the time) leaned in to whisper to her and her sisters; “That’s your mom, giving him all kinds of trouble all the way to the end.”
They all broke up laughing, it got infectious. The only one that didn’t laugh was their Dad.
My firm is representing the plaintiffs. This was a very disturbing incident.

Aren’t crypts pretty much a standard size? How did they screw up?
Just wait until cemeteries start running out of room and folding the bodies into caskets cut in half........
