I know of a used car dealer turned Christian whose unregenerate life wasn’t so different either.

It’s awesome what Jesus can do with someone totally committed to Him. All that energy previously funneled into self-destructiveness now funneled into living for God.

It makes for incredible Christians.....

This is also the director who made my favorite movie of all time, Stay (2005) with Ewan McGregor & Naomi Watts. It is the most beautiful, mysterious movie I've ever seen, and every time I watch it, I sink into a trance.

A few years back I met a fellow who is well off and somewhat famous. He told me about what a bad person he was when he was younger, especially in high school. He knew that I had some understanding about finding people. He said that he had found all his old high school classmates and had "made amends" with them. He said he had not been able to find one last person and that after he found them and settled up with them he would feel some relief for his actions in high school.

The person he was looking for was found. Shortly thereafter when that person came home one day there was a note on their door. The note said that someone had done them wrong once in life in the past and that along with the note was an apology for the wrong. The apology was parked in front of the house. It was brand new Mercedes along with the keys and the title which was in the persons name.
