The person he was looking for was found. Shortly thereafter when that person came home one day there was a note on their door. The note said that someone had done them wrong once in life in the past and that along with the note was an apology for the wrong. The apology was parked in front of the house. It was brand new Mercedes along with the keys and the title which was in the persons name.
Seeing the power of the Holy Spirit at work must have been pretty cool. Obviously, the car was great but I meant the conviction of the person to make amends.
My son has had couple kids make amends and apologize to him as well for how they treated him when they were younger.
I can’t recall that anyone has ever apologized personally to me like that, much less with a car.
OTOH, I’ve felt convicted about making amends myself, starting with my brothers and sisters. We get along now as adults, but there’s still stuff I remember from when I was a child that I’m not proud of and I’m sure they haven’t forgot.
