I am still amazed, tragically amazed, that we are not allowed to talk about Muslim terror, even when the perpetrators shout “Allah Akhbar” (sp?). We’re not supposed to jump to conclusions about what motivates the terror.
I would like to talk to those people who have the “Co-Exist” bumper stickers, with religious symbols on them. I would like to ask them which of the major faith traditions represented has trouble co-existing with their neighbors of other faiths.

Quix, I believe the thought of America was founded upon compromise to be a lie to promote subjugation of our population. I believe America came into being because Americans refused to compromise. Americans fought the British to begin this nation. War is not a compromise. Americans met to create a Constitution after not having compromised with Britain. There was a Bill of Rights, the first Ten Amendments to the Constitution because the states being represented refused to compromise otherwise the Constitution would have never been ratified.
Yet there are those who tell us America was founded by compromise. A rewriting of history to make Americans believe compromise is the meaning of America. IMHO ... nothing could be further from the truth .... for God does not compromise, He simply turns away, as America has done until the time when there can be no compromise.
God created America. This nation was founded upon the laws of God. This is what I believe. In the end, God will not compromise and in the end, should God allow America to remain, America will not be allowed to remain, by God, because America compromised.
Just some thoughts of the current events in the present. All thoughts are my thoughts. I claim full responsibility for those thoughts.

Some thoughts, not necessarily in any kind of order:
Security in churches is far more likely to involve dealing with ex-spouses and the mildly deranged, than actual violence.
Firearms trainer Jon Hodoway has some reflections on church security, I think here.
Most places, by law, churches are victim disarmament zones.
