I have not heard of this religious order before.

Hope to hear more good things about them in the future!

This is absolutely thrilling: inspired, hands-on work to save the lives of these precious Jamaican people. Fron the article:

To support or volunteer with the Missionaries of the Poor in their apostolate and pro-life work, or learn more about them, visit their website http://www.missionariesofthepoor.org/

Rev. Fr. Richard Ho Lung, founder of the MOP, also appears weekly on the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN) on a show called “Church and the Poor”.

Donations may also be sent to:

Father Ho’s order visits our diocese every other year. I have met him a couple of times; he is terribly sweet. I send them my donations after the Haitian earthquake and other disaster, because I know the funds will go to feed people who would otherwise starve.

He has sent beautiful e- mails from the heart after a donation. Truly impressed me. He spoke right from the heart like I knew him. Just a great man of God.
