None of the Gospel greats get recognition when they die... Jerry Falwell, Dr. James Kennedy, Dottie Rambo, David Wilkerson, Oral Roberts, Adrian Rogers. All received barely a blip on the scrolling news feeds. Actually not much was said about Mother Theresa. The media was more consumed about her relationship with Lady Di.
Some of those people probably weren’t known by much of the mainstream press (Rambo, Rogers). Jerry Falwell’s death got alot of attention. The left pretty much threw a party (of course they then lecture us on tolerance and decency). I remember when Lady Di died and all the coverage that received. One local radio person here asked the question if the media is acting this way over Lady Di would they act this way of Mother Theresa were to die. Sure enough Mother Theresa died a couple of days later.
I’m glad that God is the record keeper so we don’t need to. If he has saved up in a vial all our tears and numbers every hair on our heads, then he knows how many stars to place in Billy’s soulwinners crown. He was and even still is faithful to his calling. He was a part of my coming to faith in Jesus Christ. A good and faithful servant, AMEN!
i disagree with those who detract from the Rev. The Rev Graham has been a great man and a great spreader of the message of Christ. He is an agent of Christ. Yes, there have been greater missionaries than him, but he is still to be valued for what he is and "when" he is (pardon the grammatical error)
It’s sad that the OrthodoPresbyterian C hates a good man like Rev Graham and calls him a “spawn of the dark side” and other mean things. This small supposedly Presbyterian cult (but actually deviating quite a bit from Christianity) seems to really hate Rev. Graham, but who cares what the 10,000 cultists think, eh?
I remember hearing at one time, with encouragement from Blessed John Paul II when he was alive, was that the Rev. Billy Graham went to Poland to preach a Billy Graham crusade and Poland is a devout Catholic country.
Remember also too, both Popes and Preachers are doing what Christ commanded first the disciples to do, go out and preach the good news to all the nations.
