Qu'ran unites Utah Muslims, Christians {Barf alert}

Feeling grateful to their local church move to hand out free copies of Qur’an, a group of Muslim women arranged a luncheon in Salt Lake city, hoping to extend new bridges between the two faiths in the community, The Salt Lake Tribune reported on Friday, May 6.

“You extended the first hand,” Angela Young, a convert to Islam, told attendants at the luncheon.

Preparing falafel, biryani rice, hummus and baklava, a group of eight women from the Muslim community decided to share it with their local church.

On Thursday, they headed to Salt Lake City’s Wasatch Presbyterian Church sharing their luncheon, personal stories and e-mails with Presbyterian women.

The luncheon was a thank-you from the Muslim women, who were delighted by Wasatch’s giveaway earlier this week of free copies of the Qur’an.

The move to distribute 70 copies of Qur’an was first suggested two weeks ago by Wasatch’s new pastor, the Rev. Scott Dalgarno.

It came as a response to plans by anti-Qur’an pastor Terry Jones to protest against Islamic law and to burn the Holy Qur’an.

Each Qur’an had a bookmark insert that reads: "This book was donated by the leaders of Wasatch Presbyterian Church who are not afraid of truth wherever it can be found."

‘’Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, and seize them,
beleaguer them and lie in wait for them in every stratagem of war...” (Quran
9:5) || “O you who believe! Do not take the Jews and the Christians for
friends; for they are friends but of each other; and whoever amongst you
takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does
not guide the unjust people.” (Quran 5:51)
They all read the same book! n/s

So a so called Christian Church thinks that truth can be found in the Qur”an?
The truth is the Qur’an is a evil book that teaches hatred oppression and death. There are hundreds of attacks on Jews, Christians and other “infidels around the world WEEKLY..

Yes, one group plans on baptizing the other when they die, the other plans on forcing conversion or death.

What a tragic comedy...

Truth is alien to these PINO ignoramuses. They are submitting to political Islam:

Islam divides the world into Muslims and unbelievers, kafirs.

Political Islam always has two different ways to treat kafirs—dualistic ethics. Kafirs can be abused in the worst ways or they can be treated like a good neighbor.

Kafirs must submit to Islam in all politics and public life. Every aspect of kafir civilization must submit to political Islam. Non-believers are so important that they have several names. Christians and Jews are called People of the Book or infidels. Other religious names for non-Muslims are atheist, polytheist, and pagan. But the Koran uses one word that includes all of the religious names. That name is kafir, an Arabic word.

Kafir is usually translated as unbeliever, but that translation is wrong. Unbeliever is a neutral word. The Koran is very clear about the kafir. Indeed, the Koran defines the kafir by how it speaks of them. Kafirs are the lowest and worst form of life. Kafirs can be robbed, murdered, tortured, enslaved, crucified and more. Later in this chapter, more of the Koran’s doctrine of the kafir is given in some detail. But the key point is that a kafir is not only a non-Muslim, but also a person who falls under a different moral code from the Muslim.

The Koran is devoted to the division between those who believe Mohammed, Muslims, and those who do not, kafirs. This grand division of the Koran means that there are two points of view of the Koran—the view of the Muslim and the view of the kafir.

They might want to bone up on Sharia Law for the Non Muslim, since they are already becoming enslaved by it.

Cordially,

Insufficient information to judge the church which distributed the Qu’rans.

Here are some situations where such actions are foolish.

1) Perhaps the church was thinking the local Muslims are simply unbelievers wrt Christ, and their hearts are hardened against the Gospel by reports of Christians burning the Qu’ran. In response, by handing out the Qu’ran, the Muslim community might become more acceptable to hearing the Gospel.

a) Muslims always have a fundamental problem with Justice. In many cases, they will substitute a counterfeit issue as a panacea for justice. They also confuse harm with judicial penalties for redemption. They also confuse good works as substitution for atonement.

These above confusions are manifest by a common Islamic tactic during their jihad, to perform some good work, giving a gift, rational expression of compassion, all directed at their enemy whom they are plotting to attack and destroy. Their action, in their minds, removes any association of unrighteousness from their soul prior to their attack. Then by doing right in their own minds independent of God, they feel at liberty to obey their personal interpretation of Allah’s will to destroy the infidel, and that destruction will be acknowledged by Allah for future reward, even eternal bliss.

It isn’t uncommon for a Muslim plotting the murder of an infidel to give him a Qu’ran shortly before he plans to murder him.

The church delivering these Qu’rans to their members, might actually relieve Muslims of any sense of obligation to perform any charity prior to their attacks, or they might manifest other charitable acts, such as bringing over a free meal to fulfill their pre-murderous duties.

IMHO, if this is the situation, the church might be encouraging their enemies to attack them. i.e. Pearls Before Swine.

Too many churches associate Christianity with our peaceful culture promoting moral behavior.

They can then fool themselves into thinking unbelievers think the same way believers think.

They also confuse forgiveness with redemption and Judgment.

Everybody out of fellowship with God is not forgiven until they face Him, and through faith in what Christ provided on the Cross, place their sins in God’s hands. It all rests upon the Judgment of Christ on the Cross.

While the sins of everybody have been judged and Christ has redeemed them all, we still are not forgiven until we follow His protocol.

A Muslim who rejects Christ for fellowship with God, is not having fellowship with our God.

On the contrary, those who are antiChristian, will follow a path which leads from grieving God to Quenching the Holy Spirit. Anything provided by God to fulfill His Plan, will be ultimately be prone for attack by the Adversary.

“[T]he leaders of Wasatch Presbyterian Church who are not afraid of truth wherever it can be found...”

...are probably completely senseless to God’s truth where it can be found - in the Bible. These wolves are leading their sheep into the pit.

Isn’t this the same group that introduced bad chess? (Confusing their Bishop with a Queen)? Now they embrace Islam-extending their hand? Sad indeed.

The move to distribute 70 copies of Qur’an...

So, they pass out the quran and have lunch. What are the chances that if they passed out Bibles in Damascus, they'd also have lunch?

How about Stealers Wheel:

Well I don’t know why I came here tonight,
I got the feeling that something ain’t right,
I’m so scared in case I fall off my chair,
And I’m wondering how I’ll get down the stairs,
Muslims to the left of me,
Mormons to the right, here I am,
Stuck in the middle with you.
Here I am,..stuck in the middle with you....

Professor Bill Warner has the best take on Islam that I have seen. The following note is what I send to all my friends.

“Just a few notes about “Sharia Laws for non-Muslims”. Dr. Bill Warner, from Nashville,Tn, has conducted extensive studies of Sharia, Islam, Muslims - Laws - Customs - History.

Some links follow :

www.politicalislam.com - Papers by Dr. Bill Warner and Bio.

http://actwestnashville.com/?page_id=544 - 14 audio MP3 Presentations (about 20 minutes each)

I encourage you to read his 2-28-11 paper and at least listen to the 1st Audio “Introduction” and the 14th Audio “Conclusion”.”

The audio is the best :http://actwestnashville.com/?page_id=544

In Damascus there wouldn't be a problem -- for all of Assad's faults, he is a secular tyrant (he's a member of the Allawi religion which is considered heretical and non-Moslem by both Sunnis and Shias)

Syria is also 20% Christian (new figures since a million odd Christians have fled Iraq to Syria)

If they passed out Bibles in Saudi Arabia.... wait you can't even take a Bible into Saudi Arabia.
