I never really understood the idea of a cloister. What’s the point of hiding away not making any contact with the outside world. How do you spread the Word of God?
Our church has different charisms, different ways to serve God. The way of the cloister is to be in prayer and contemplation for the world, so the prayer is constantly taking place.
