In this, the inaugural Free Republic prayer thread for Governor Sarah Palin, please join in lifting the Governor up in prayer, either of your own choosing or the following.....
"May you, O Lord, bless Sarah and keep her and make your face to shine upon her. May you lift up your countenance upon her and give her peace this day and forevermore. Clothe your servant with the armor of God, preserve her from all the fiery darts of the most wicked one and deliver her not up to the will of her enemies. Amen.”
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the malice and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls. Heavenly Father: In the Name of Jesus, and according to Psalms 91, please keep Sarah and Todd Palin and their family dwelling in the secret place of The Most High; and abiding under the shadow of The Almighty. I pray that no matter what may happen, a thousand may fall at their side, and ten thousand at their right hand, but it will not come nigh them. I pray that you satisfy them with long life and show them thy Salvation.......so that they may all be living for you and praising you, alive and well until the Rapture; which we believe is not afar off. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

The left has gone insane with violent threats towards Governor Palin. My prayers go up for her and her family’s safety. I’ve never been so shocked at the open hatred exhibited by this nation’s enemies, the left. At the same time, I’m more resolved than ever to stand against them.
It goes without saying that I would like to be on this list.
Everyday I pray the promises of John 14:27 for our dear Sarah.....
“Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

Almighty Father, send angels to guard our sister Sarah and her family. Pour your love into their hearts through the Holy Spirit who is given, so that they can live in peace and love, with courage and self-control, doing good to all. Amen.
Please give her the toughness and wisdom to continue to handle and prevail over what she faces on the national political stage.
