Religious slumming.

Reminds me of the intellectual slumming of New York City rich leftist elites like the late Leonard Bernstein and his wife.

They consistently invited unkempt, vulgar, enemies of our country, the beret-topped Black Panthers, to their regular weekly artsy-fartsy exclusive salons....sending drooling tingles down every guest's liberal legs and onto the apartment's expensive carpeting.

This made them more tolerant and open-minded than the mere mortals who lived in all the Toonervilles outside of NYC.

However, one attraction for the mormons is that the muslims don't really mind that the mormons keep demanding to be called Christian even though they aren't. Christians have a problem with that, thus you don't see these "outreach" efforts by the mormon church to Christians en masse.

I would merely say you are mistaken, but you do this sort of mischaracterization so often it is something other than an innocent mistake. No one has called you demonic. Your religion, Mormonism, well that's another story.

Your supposed prophet was not only 'divining with a peepstone' conning farmers over imaginary buried treasure, but he was a liar and a sexual predator of still married women. Your demonically inspired profit (see reference Kirkland Bank scam and three dollar bills of Joseph Smith) fabricate whole books of bogus scripture (see the book of Abraham and Pearl of Great Price) from now easily translated hieroglyphs from the Egyptian Book of The Dead describing embalming poetry.

I also find it interesting that your ilk continue to quote the King James Bible to us as your talisman for protection (?) yet your demonically inspired religion only endorses the Bible 'where it is translated correctly', yet you don't even use the supposed perfect retranslation (with demonically inspired additions like the eight hundred plus words at the end of the Book of Gensis where Smith fabricated a prophecy of his coming forth in these latter days!) your lying sexual predator profit claimed was inspired from the Mormon god to correct all those 'mistranslations' (see Joseph Smith Translation of the King James Bible, into King James English).

A Christian is not to judge hypocritically or self righteously.

They are to obey Christ's commands to evaluate a personas character. IE false prophet, who are known by their fruits.

God's Word repeatedly exhorts Christians to evaluate carefully between good and bad people and things. IE those who masquerade as angles of light.

The rebuke Jesus speaks of here is hypocritical judging, not judging itself.

So you paying 10% tithe with a part of that going to translate the Pearl of Great Price into over 100 languages...

In conclusion let us summarize this grand key, these “Fourteen Fundamentals in Following the Prophet”, for our salvation depends on them.

1. The prophet is the only man who speaks for the Lord in everything.
2. The living prophet is more vital to us than the standard works.
3. The living prophet is more important to us than a dead prophet.
4. The prophet will never lead the church astray.
5. The prophet is not required to have any particular earthly training or credentials to speak on any subject or act on any matter at any time.
6. The prophet does not have to say “Thus Saith the Lord,” to give us scripture.
7. The prophet tells us what we need to know, not always what we want to know.
8. The prophet is not limited by men’s reasoning.
9. The prophet can receive revelation on any matter, temporal or spiritual.
10. The prophet may advise on civic matters.
11. The two groups who have the greatest difficulty in following the prophet are the proud who are learned and the proud who are rich.
12. The prophet will not necessarily be popular with the world or the worldly.
13. The prophet and his counselors make up the First Presidency—the highest quorum in the Church.
14. The prophet and the presidency—the living prophet and the First Presidency—follow them and be blessed—reject them and suffer.

I testify that these fourteen fundamentals in following the living prophet are true. If we want to know how well we stand with the Lord then let us ask ourselves how well we stand with His mortal captain—how close do our lives harmonize with the Lord’s anointed—the living Prophet—President of the Church, and with the Quorum of the First Presidency.
