Jesus didn't celebrate Christmas because the Winter Solstice, Dec. 25 was the SUN GOD Mithra's birthday. Roman church under Constantine made it Jesus birthday. It is definitely a pagan holy day. Still is.

Who peed in your Wheaties? Whatever their religion prefences and beliefs are, don’t concern me, but I don’t trust people who don’t salute our flag, serve in our military, or let kids celebrate birthdays and holidays. Also, my wife said their church buildings creep her out because they don’t have windows.

Jesus was probably born in Summer, because that is when people traveled to pay their taxes

Jesus didn't celebrate Christmas

Why would Jesus "celebrate" the Incarnation? He was the Incarnation.

because the Winter Solstice, Dec. 25 was the SUN GOD Mithra's birthday.

(1) The winter solstice is not on December 25.

(2) Worshippers of Mithra did not celebrate his birthday.

(3) The feast that worshippers of Mithra celebrated was his return to the land, which they celebrated at the spring equinox, not the winter solstice.

Roman church under Constantine made it Jesus birthday.

Constantine had no knowledge of a separate celebration of the Nativity. Its celebration predated his reign and was known among North African Christians before he was born. However it did not become a common Christian celebration until well after he died.

It became widely celebrated as a refutation of the Arian heresy, which claimed that Jesus was just a creature.

It is definitely a pagan holy day. Still is.

It never was a pagan holy day. Still isn't.

You need to do better research.

My birthday is actually on May 29 but it is OK with me if you send a gift on Sept 29. Just as long as you remember to send a gift and sing happy birthday to me every year.

____________________________________________________________

The Watchtower celebrated Christmas in the beginning, were they pagans then?

The Watchtower Reprints, December 1, 1904, p. 3468
“Even though Christmas day is not the real
anniversary of our Lord’s birth, but more properly
the annunciation day or the date of his human
begetting (Luke 1:28), nevertheless, since the
celebration of our Lord’s birth is not a matter of
divine appointment or injunction, but merely a
tribute of respect to him, it is not necessary for us
to quibble particularly about the date. We may as
well join with the civilized world in celebrating the
grand event on the day which the majority celebrate
- ‘Christmas day’”

The Watchtower, December 15, 1926, p. 371
“Student of the Scriptures also know that the birth
of the babe Jesus did not take place in December;
yet because of the general belief upon this point by
most people, it seems to be an appropriate time to
speak the truth concerning his birth and the purpose
thereof. The Scriptural testimony, supported by
extraneous facts, shows that the birth of Jesus
occurred approximately October 1st. The event is
so important that it is always appropriate to call it
to the minds of the people, regardless of the date.”
The Watchtower, December 15, 1979, p. 5
“It is clear, therefore, that Jesus was not born on
December 25. Rather, the available evidence
points to about October 1 of 2 B.C.E. Hence,
celebrating his birth through Christmas observance
on December 25 is totally inappropriate for those
guided by the Holy Scriptures.”
The Watchtower, December 15, 1983, p. 7
“We all need to face up to the fact that Christmas
and its music are not from Jehovah, the God of
truth. Then what is their source? Reason should
suggest that they are from someone whose sole aim
now is to mislead as many people as possible. The
Bible tells us that this is the goal of Satan the
Devil…Yes, Satan the Devil can ingeniously make
Christmas music appear to be of God and the
singing of it a Christian duty that honors Him and
His Son. In reality, it does just the opposite.”

The solstices and equinoxes are not tied to a specific calendar date - they are astronomical positions which the calendar does not exactly fit.
